The City of Fort Bragg is currently seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultants interested in contracting with the City of Fort Bragg to prepare complete construction documents for the 2019 Streets Rehabilitation Project. The Public Works Department and City Council have identified priority streets in need of pavement rehabilitation during the 2019 construction season (see Figure 1: Proposed Project Areas). The City sees the goal of this project as strictly maintenance and rehabilitation of the City streets in the worst condition. We are seeking pavement condition options in order to bring these failed streets back into the regular maintenance cycle with other local streets. This project is funded in part with a special City sales tax for street rehabilitation and Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Act (RMRA) funding.
Tri-annual Pavement Management Program Update (2017): The preparation of this report was programmed and funded through the Mendocino Council of Governments’ FY 2016/17 Transportation Planning Overall Work Programs and the work was completed by Nichols Consulting Engineers, Chtd. (NCE).
